I am completely new to this and would love to learn all I can. I don't have much money, so I buy organic where I can. My kid's drink Organic Milk, but my hubby and I drink regular because it is so much.

Welcome to the board! It can be hard (and expensive) to get started, so many people start with just baby steps. Here are some small things you can do that won't break the bank: At the grocery store:- Instead of buying regular aluminum foil and paper goods, buy recycled aluminum foil and paper goods. - Look for items without extensive packaging. - Re-use grocery bags each time you shop (or, better yet - purchase sturdy cloth bags - like the ones available at Whole Foods - and use those each time you shop instead of plastic or paper bags) Also, check out these websites: www.campaignearth.org (this is very helpful to people starting out. This website helps people realize how simple it can be) www.treehugger.com - has some 'go green' guides that cover many categories. Also, to help make organic food affordable, you can try to change the way you shop and/or cook. I know it's easier said than done, lol, but it's possible for some people. I started "freezer cooking", which helps me to stick to a grocery budget. Because of the money I save by doing this, it allows me to afford more organic food than I was able to buy before. My husband and I also plan on starting a small vegetable garden in our back yard - so one of these days at least some of our 'organic' veggies will be essentially free. Hope this helps!
