How to edit your profile:
Click on the 'Profile' link under the banner. From there, you should be able to follow the prompts. From there, you should also be able to edit and maintain your bookmarks.
How to activate your account
*Account activation is optional and not required to join or participate. Click on 'user CP' under the banner. Click on 'modify profile'. Scroll down until you see 'activate account'. Select 'yes' to activate. This will allow you to receive thread notifications.
What is Karma?
It's kind of like a kudos system. You give 'karma' to someone who you think deserves it (it goes the other way, too - you can take 'karma' away from someone, also).
