Apparently, Wal-Mart has been labeling products as organic when it actually isn't organic. Click here for the details. And here is more info. (I'm placing this here instead of the food section because Wal-Mart also sells organic clothing.)

Thank you for posting this information Gina. I would never buy anything label organic from Wal-Mart-not even the produce.
I do buy my soymilk there, unsweetened Silk, as it is $1 less per carton than any other store.

I've never really purchased food from Wal-Mart, even before I started eating organic food. The quality always seemed questionable. But, Silk is Silk at any store. And with the whole organic thing, I think they're just making money off of what they see as a trend. I don't think Wal-Mart actually knows the difference between natural and organic.

I wouldn't trust that the items marked 'organic' are actually organic. I have no problem purchasing things for my husband. He dose not eat organically. I would not buy meat or produce there, but canned goods is the same anywhere you shop.
Their prices on cleaning and paper produts is excellent
